So a new era begins...

I faxed over the signed papers earlier today. I gave notice yesterday and didn't feel the least bit guilty about not giving 2 weeks, noone was surprised as they let people go just as fast. Maybe later on I'll write a detailed post about the monkey armpit that is the company I worked for. For now let's just say I am not gonna miss the grief. I'll miss most of the people, good friends and fellow sufferers. In any case, Monday I start my new job at Technorati, and I don't possess the right superlatives to convey how much I am looking forward to it. Each and every person I have talked to has been exceptional and I am feeling very good about this move. Deanna's not too thrilled about the longer commute but she's happy that I am happy and I am just gonna have to make it up to her, you know, somehow.

Finally got a chance to work a bit on the new trivia bot. I unleashed it on the channel and it seems to be working for the most part. Maybe I'll find more time this weekend to finish off some of the other features I'd like to have. Hopefully now that so many people are fleeing the monkey armpit I mentioned above we'll all find the opportunity to stay in touch in the channel.
